20/20: A Vision for Southeast Queens
Our neighborhoods suffer from decades of generational poverty, failing schools and alarming rates of street and family violence. And some people believe nothing can be done to change this heartbreaking cycle. We don't agree.
We're not willing to just "throw away" the promise of yet another generation of children and youth.Safe Space now has three newly renovated and welcoming "hub" locations focused exclusively on helping the vulnerable children and families in Southeast Queens. Our conveniently located "one-stop" sites are anchored within Jamaica, Far Rockaway, and Richmond Hill (also serving nearby Howard Beach and Ozone Park).
