THE MASK PROJECT:
BEHIND THE FACES OF OUR FUTURE
Created by students in our media arts center, this powerful video examines some timeless questions and allows our young people an opportunity to safely express their feelings, explore their identities and develop healthy ways to cope with their environments.
How do you see yourself?
How do you think other people see you?
Combining the creative arts with digital media, this video highlights some of the questions at the heart of an art therapy workshop provided for our kids at The Space. In this workshop, teens paint both sides of a blank mask.
On the outside, they express how they believe the world sees them. On the inside of the masks, they design the way they see themselves.
