SAFE HOME & SAFE HAVEN. Safe Space operates two 12-bed Transitional-Living Facilities to support at-risk, homeless and runaway youth, ranging in age from 16-21.
Both facilities provide residents with the foundation for long-term independence and stability by building a combination of physical, mental, educational and life skills.
Increasing economic self-sufficiency for our young people to prepare to live on their own is a major goal of the program. All residents are expected to work or enroll in school within 90 days in order to remain in the program -- and the majority of our kids do both -- in their quest to live independently on their own.
